It should be noted that in the first meeting -- won by the Cats 80-61 at Rupp -- Kentucky shot 51.7 percent to 39.6 percent for Florida. UK made 12 of 20 three-point shots. Kentucky averaged 1.257 points per possession that game compared to 0.961 for Florida. Much of that had to do with Jamal Murray, who scored a career-high 35 points for Kentucky.
