Alabama’s Lane Kiffin trolls Kentucky’s Darin Hinshaw on Twitter
After Jacksonville, Florida quarterback Mac Jones flipped his commitment from Kentucky to Alabama on Tuesday night, the quarterback coaches/offensive coordinators from both schools took to Twitter.
It started with UK quarterbacks coach Darin Hinshaw’s tweet:
#WeAreUK #BBN pic.twitter.com/VUheiz4L1H
— Darin Hinshaw (@CoachHinshaw) June 8, 2016
According to College Spun, Jones then tweeted that he respected Kentucky but the “old man is acting like a 12 year old.” That tweet has since been deleted.
Then Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin re-tweeted Hinshaw’s tweet.
Before that, Kiffin tweeted this:
— Lane Kiffin (@Lane_Kiffin) June 7, 2016
This isn’t the first time, of course, that Kiffin has played Twitter troll.
Ultimately, Jones confirmed his commitment to the Tide.
Please respect my decision! I am 100% committed to the University Of Alabama! #RollTide #SEC pic.twitter.com/h92gsYhnBk

Update: My friend Cecil Hurt of the Tuscaloosa News disagrees that Kiffin was “trolling” Hinshaw.
