Man shot Monday on Danielle Lane in Lexington dies
A man shot in the head Monday on Danielle Lane in Lexington died Wednesday, according to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.
Darrius Twyman, 19, died at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, according to the coroner’s office.
Officers were called to a shooting about 9 p.m. Monday in a parking lot on Danielle Lane, according to police. Police said they thought Twyman might have known the shooter and might have been involved in a dispute.
Police said Monday night that they were searching for a blue Chrysler that had been seen speeding from the area. No arrests had been made as of early Thursday afternoon.
Twyman’s death is the 10th homicide in Lexington in 2017, according to police.
