Lexington’s Peach Cobbler Factory is about to open. Here are the warm details.
Who’s up for eating dessert first? Lexington’s first Peach Cobbler Factory is opening next month.
The restaurant, which will serve cinnamon rolls and banana puddings, will open Nov. 12 at 521 S. Broadway, Unit 145, in The Lex.
Franchise owner Shermiah Holland said that the grand opening of the location will include some prizes and giveaways for new customers.
Peach Cobbler Factory menu
Peach Cobbler Factory only does premium desserts. The menu includes a dozen different warm cobblers and six cinnamon rolls, all of which can be topped with ice cream. They also serve a dozen versions of banana pudding and “Pudd-N Shakes” made with those flavors too.
Pans of desserts are available for catering orders.
The menu also includes Sweet Peachy Tea and Cold Rush Coffee, including seasonal flavors such as pumpkin spice.
Holland said that the simplicity of the concept was part of what drew her to the restaurant in the first place: Just great cobbler, baked fresh daily on site, she said.
Peach Cobbler Factory locations, expansion
Peach Cobbler Factory, which bills itself as “America’s #1 Dessert Shop,” has been serving fruity pastries since 2013. Founded in Nashville by Juan and Tami Edgerton, the growing chain already has locations in Cincinnati, Louisville and Elizabethtown.
Stores are also coming to Georgetown, Richmond, Bowling Green, Bardstown, Oak Grove, Covington, Radcliff and Mt. Washington.
And Holland has said she hopes to bring at least one other location to Lexington.
The first location was reported in February; Holland said she’d hoped to open soon but construction was delayed.
