No reason was given. Restaurant owner Jay Harris did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The restaurant, which served a variety of pizzas, calzones, pastas and salads, still has one location open in Chevy Chase Place.
The Chevy Chase location is the original Lexington location of the chain, which is based in Indianapolis. At one time, there were at least three locations including one in Brighton Place Shoppes near Hamburg. According to the Kentucky Secretary of State’s office, Puccini’s has been registered as a business since 2004.
