A popular Lexington brewery has been teasing a second location for months and now it’s finally opening.
Mirror Twin Brewing announced on social media that a new location at 4379 Old Harrodsburg Rd is opening Saturday, March 28 from 2 p.m. to midnight.
Co-owner Mike Sobolak announced the news in a video on Facebook saying, “Alright guys, we finally have a date. I’ve thrown out plenty of dates in my previous videos and I’ve missed every single one. Do I feel confident in this? Not really, but it’s the most confident I’ve ever felt. We still have a lot of little punch list items to do, like the cans, and finish the menu board and the merch, and bring liquor and all that good stuff,” he said. “But we’re trucking along, and we’re looking pretty good ... Ready for that date? This Saturday, March 28.”
He said food partner Rolling Oven, which serves pizza in-house at the location on National Avenue, will be there serving as well.
The brewery, which opened a decade ago on National Avenue, has been working on the second taproom since last fall.
Details are scarce but Sobalak has previously posted on social media that it will be “Bigger. Louder. Stonger. More beer. More cocktails.”
