A Kentucky teenager has been charged with murder after two people, including a 12-year-old boy, were found dead inside a home in Allen County Wednesday.
The Allen County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a home on Stamps Road Feb. 18 after receiving a report of a domestic assault, according to Kentucky State. Traci Trasky, 42, and the child were found dead inside the home.
Investigators at the scene noticed Trasky’s vehicle was missing, and it was later found abandoned on Pleasant Field Church Road in Allen County. State police said a 17-year-old suspect was spotted running through the woods near the vehicle, and he was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.
The teen has been charged with two counts of murder, tampering with physical evidence, auto theft and first-degree fleeing or evading police.
State police did not provide the identity of the suspect or say how he was related to the victims. Trooper Katan Parker said only that it was not a shooting.
