Two gamblers got lucky at a Las Vegas casino when they both won huge jackpot prizes while playing the same slot machine game.

They both won over $1 million prizes within 24 hours of each other.

The first player sat at a Dragon Link slot machine at about 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Wynn Las Vegas, the resort said in an Aug. 27 news release.

They ended up hitting the $1,191,881 jackpot.

Then about 18 hours later, another gambler picked a Dragon Link slot machine at the same hotel, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen.

This player won $1,005,405 after noon Sunday, Aug. 25, the hotel said.

The two guests are regulars at the casino.

The hotel didn’t release details regarding how much each player bet when they hit the jackpots.

“This is the second time Wynn Las Vegas has paid out two jackpots totaling more than one million dollars within a 24-hour period, the first time occurring in 2023,” the hotel said in the release.

The Wynn and its sister resort, Encore, have two curved bronze-colored towers on the north end of the Strip.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
