Among those killed in Monday’s mass shooting in Louisville was Juliana Farmer, a loan officer at Old National Bank where the shooting took place.
Five people are dead and nine others were hospitalized, including a police officer, after an active shooter opened fire at Old National Bank in downtown Louisville Monday morning, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department. LMPD said the shooter is dead and identified him as Connor Sturgeon, a 25-year-old employee of Old National Bank.
Farmer was 45, according to LMPD. She was a mother and grandmother living in Louisville. She had recently posted to her Facebook page about her excitement to become a grandmother for the fifth time, saying “My heart is so happy!” She was originally from Henderson, Kentucky.
“What am I supposed to do now,” J’yeon Christopher Chambers, identified as Farmer’s son, wrote on Facebook. “They took my f****** mommmmm!!!!!!!!!!”
Farmer was “the best mom, the best friend, the best grandma, the best listener,” Brentney Owsley, a friend of Farmer’s, posted on Facebook.
