The Lexington Herald-Leader and Kentucky.com are proud to announce the winner of the 44th annual Kentucky Sports Figure of the Year Award this morning.
Watch the video above to see who came out on top in a vote of 138 sports media members from across Kentucky.
The top three finalists for the 2024 award were former University of Kentucky track star and Olympic gold medalist Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, UK baseball coach Nick Mingione and former Lyon County High School and current UK basketball player Travis Perry.
