The University of Kentucky football team defeated the Florida Gators, 26-16, at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla., on Saturday night in the 2022 Southeastern Conference opener for both teams.
The 20th-ranked Wildcats are now 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the Southeastern Conference. No. 12 Florida is 1-1 overall and 0-1 in the SEC.
Kentucky returns to action Saturday, Sept. 17 at noon (SEC Network) when it hosts Youngstown State at Kroger Field.
