The University of Kentucky football team was defeated by the Ole Miss Rebels, 22-19, at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Miss., on Saturday.

The seventh-ranked Wildcats are now 4-1 overall and 1-1 in the Southeastern Conference. Mississippi improved to 5-0 and 1-0.

Kentucky returns to action Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m. (SEC Network) when it hosts South Carolina at Kroger Field.
