The University of Kentucky football team was defeated by the South Carolina Gamecocks, 24-14, at Kroger Field in Lexington on Saturday night.
The 13th-ranked Wildcats are now 4-2 overall and 1-2 in the Southeastern Conference. Unranked South Carolina is now 4-2 and 1-2.
Kentucky returns to action Saturday, Oct. 15, at 7:30 p.m. (SEC Network) when it hosts No. 23 Mississippi State at Kroger Field.
