The University of Kentucky football team was defeated by the Tennessee Volunteers, 44-6, at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn., on Saturday night.
The 19th-ranked Wildcats are now 5-3 overall and 2-3 in the Southeastern Conference. No. 3 Tennessee improved to to 8-0 and 4-0.
Kentucky returns to action Saturday, Nov. 5, when it visits Missouri in Columbia, Mo.
