The University of Kentucky football team was defeated by the No. 1-ranked Georgia Bulldogs, 16-6, at Kroger Field in Lexington on Saturday.

The Wildcats are now 6-5 overall and 3-5 in the Southeastern Conference. Georgia improved to 11-0 and 8-0.

Kentucky returns to action Saturday, Nov. 26, when it hosts Louisville at Kroger Field.
