Four games were played Thursday during the second day of the 2022 United HealthCare Boys’ Sweet 16 State Basketball Tournament in Rupp Arena.

Warren Central, Lyon County, Murray and Covington Catholic punched their tickets to Friday’s quarterfinals with first-round victories Thursday, joining Wednesday’s winners Lincoln County, North Oldham, Clark County and Pikeville.

The four quarterfinal games are lined up for Friday. Below is a recap of Thursday’s events in Lexington.
