College football games on television this weekend (Oct. 7-9)

The SEC Network’s traveling pregame show “SEC Nation” will be in Lexington on Saturday morning before Saturday night’s matchup between No. 16 Kentucky and LSU at Kroger Field.

The William T. Young Library will host the show from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday. “SEC Nation” features Laura Rutledge, Paul Finebaum, Roman Harper, Jordan Rodgers and Tim Tebow.

Fans wishing to attend SEC Nation can park for free in Parking Structure No. 2, accessible from University Drive near the W.T. Young Library.

On Friday, ”The Paul Finebaum Show” on the SEC Network will originate from UK from 3-7 p.m. On Saturday morning, “Marty and McGee” will be live from 9-10 a.m.

Saturday night, Tom Hart, Rodgers and Cole Cubelic comprise the broadcast crew for the 7:30 p.m. kickoff at Kroger Field.

As for games matching ranked teams this weekend, No. 6 Oklahoma takes on No. 21 Texas in the Red River Shootout at noon on ABC. OU is 5-0. Texas is 4-1.

No. 13 Arkansas is at No. 17 Ole Miss at noon on ESPN. Both are coming off lopsided losses. Ole Miss lost 42-21 at No. 1 Alabama. Arkansas lost 37-0 at No. 2 Georgia.

Speaking of Georgia, the Bulldogs play No. 18 Auburn at 3:30 p.m. on CBS. Last Saturday, Auburn defeated LSU in Baton Rouge for the first time since 1999, pulling off a 24-19 victory.

Then at 4 p.m on Fox, No. 4 Penn State plays at No. 3 Iowa. Both teams are 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the Big Ten. Iowa is a 1.5-point favorite.
