A roundup of SEC men’s basketball results, with updated standings and Saturday’s television schedule:

Alabama 78, South Carolina 76 (OT): Alabama fabulous freshman Brandon Miller shook off the controversy surrounding his alleged presence at a Tuscaloosa murder scene, plus his coach’s initial insensitive comments, to score a career-high 41 points and help the Crimson Tide escape with a win at South Carolina on Wednesday night.

Kentucky 82, Florida 74: Trailing by a point at halftime, Kentucky rallied in the second half behind 25 points from Oscar Tshiebwe and 15 rebounds from Chris Livingston. Playing its second game without center and leading scorer Colin Castleton, Florida took its fifth loss in its last six games. Freshman Riley Kugel led the Gators with 24 points.

Auburn 78, Ole Miss 74: Wendell Green scored 23 points as the Tigers bounced back after a loss last Saturday at Vanderbilt. Bruce Pearl’s club visits Kentucky on Saturday. Not even 23 points from Matthew Murrell could keep Ole Miss from suffering its 10th loss in the Rebels’ last 11 games.

LSU 84, Vanderbilt 77: Vandy’s five-game winnings streak hit a wall in Baton Rouge. Commodores’ center Liam Robbins finished with 23 points and 11 rebounds. That was not enough when LSU got 35 points and 10 rebounds from KJ Williams. The victory snapped the Tigers’ 14-game losing streak.

Arkansas 97, Georgia 65: Georgia was blitzed for the second straight game. After losing by 49 at Alabama, the Bulldogs lost by 32 in Fayetteville. Arkansas freshman Nick Smith scored a career-high 26 points as the Razorbacks shot 63.8 percent from the floor.

Texas A&M 68, Tennessee 63: Wade Taylor IV led the Aggies in scoring for the fourth straight game. He scored 25 points. Buzz Williams’ team improved to 13-2 in league play. Tennessee shot 40 percent, but made just nine of 31 three-point attempts.

Missouri 66, Mississippi State 64 (OT): Missouri snapped a two-game losing streak with a win over the visiting Bulldogs. Kobie Brown led Mizzou with 17 points. It was the second straight overtime game for Mississippi State, who needed an extra period to win 69-61 at Ole Miss on Saturday.
