On her way to work, a Maryland woman made a quick stop for coffee.

Little did she know that stop would lead to an unrelenting smile, Maryland Lottery officials said in a Sept. 24 news release.

The Baltimore woman, a clothing store worker, told lottery officials that during her morning coffee stop, she also bought a $5 Ca$h Plu$ instant ticket.

Before starting her shift, she scratched the ticket in the parking lot, lottery officials said.

She won the game’s top prize of $50,000, lottery officials said.

“I walked in the store with the biggest smile on my face,” the woman told lottery officials.

Her smile would not stop, she said, telling lottery officials “it lasted all day.”

“It was, hands down, my best day at work ever,” the woman said.
