The University of Kentucky men’s basketball team played Vanderbilt University in the quarterfinals of the Southeastern Conference Tournament at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla., on Friday night. The fifth-ranked Wildcats defeated the unranked Commodores, 77-71.
Next up for Kentucky (26-6) is a Southeastern Conference Tournament semifinal matchup against No. 9 Tennessee (24-7) on Saturday.
