It’s the “fastest two minutes in sports,” “The Run for the Roses,” and everyone’s favorite and most well-known horse race in America: the Kentucky Derby.

The 151st running of the Derby is taking place this Saturday, May 3. The Derby is an event with rich history; of course, any event spanning over 150 years would be.
