Another restaurant closes at Lexington’s Summit. It’s the 9th at the shopping center
Another original restaurant at The Summit at Fritz Farm has closed, marking at least the ninth major restaurant tenant to leave the shopping center.
CoreLife Eatery, 4040 Finn Way Suite 110, announced on social media on April 14 it had closed after almost eight years.
“Thank you for your support over the years. We regret to inform you that we are now permanently closed,” CoreLife Eatery posted.
CoreLife Eatery, which specialized in nutrient-dense meals centered on greens, grains and broth, opened in 2017 as part of an expansion of the New York state-based chain.
Menu items included Sriracha-ginger roasted tofu, tuna poke, and spicy ginger steak and rice noodle bone broth bowl. The menu also also has vegan items, and all dishes are gluten-free. Beverages include cucumber basil lemonade, beet lemonade, cranberry cayenne lemonade and fruit punch.
CoreLife is the latest loss of the original tenants of The Summit at Fritz Farm, an upscale $153 million shopping center at the corner of Nicholasville Road and Man o’ War that opened in 2017.
