University of Kentucky men’s basketball fans have several options to obtain tickets to the Wildcats’ NCAA Tournament first-round game Friday at Greensboro, N.C.
UK vs. Providence (7:10 p.m.) is one of four games that will be played Friday at the first- and second-round site. Also Friday, Kansas State takes on Montana State (about 9:40 p.m.), Xavier faces Kennesaw State (12:40 p.m.) and Iowa State goes against either Mississippi State or Pittsburgh (about 3:10 p.m.).
On Sunday, it’s the UK-Providence winner vs. the Kansas State-Montana State winner and the Xavier-Kennesaw State winner vs. the Iowa State-Mississippi State/Pittsburgh winner. Times for the second round will not be announced until all first-round games are complete.
Kentucky receives a limited allotment of tickets from the NCAA. Eligible K Fund members who requested first- and second-round tickets in advance of Selection Sunday were to receive a confirmation email on Monday evening, March 13, from the UK Ticket Office with information about whether or not their request has been fulfilled.
Public tickets for the games in Greensboro may be purchased at NCAA.com/MBBTickets. Fans will find complete ticket information there for all NCAA sites, including information about the NCAA Ticket Exchange (NCAA.com/Exchange), the official secondary marketplace for authentic NCAA Tournament tickets.
Ticket prices for the first-round sessions range from $38-108 and for the round second-round session from $68-162.
More information about requesting tickets for all possible rounds of the NCAA Tournament is available at ukathletics.com/ticketing/mbbncaa-requests/ and will be updated if Kentucky advances. Those who are eligible to request NCAA tickets will be notified by email from the UK Ticket Office.
Student tickets are not available for first- and second-round games, and information for later rounds will be available at UKStudentTix.com if Kentucky advances.
