The Kentucky Wildcats take on the Louisville Cardinals in college football’s Governor’s Cup in Lexington on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for noon on the SEC Network.

1Q-7:07-Louisville 7-0: On its second possession, Louisville goes 60 yards in nine plays to take the early lead. Isaac Brown scored from 1 yard out. Louisville quarterback Tyler Shough started the drive with a 23-yard pass to Chris Bell.

2Q-13:00-Louisville 10-0: After Tamarion McDonald intercepted a pass by UK quarterback Cutter Boley and returned it to the home team’s 25-yard line, the Wildcats held Louisville to a 20-yard field goal by Brock Travelstead.

2Q-11:16-Louisville 17-0: Cardinals running back Duke Watson goes 58 yards for a touchdown to extend Louisville’s lead. Getting ugly for the Cats.

2Q-4:45-Louisville 20-0: Shough hits Bell for a 51-yard gain that sets up a 21-yard field goal by Travelstead, his second of the first half.

3Q-9:22-Louisville 20-7: After Boley left the game with an injury — he was the victim of a targeting call against a Cardinals defender — Gavin Wimsatt came in at quarterback for Kentucky and hit Ja’Mori Maclin for a 34-yard completion and later a 4-yard touchdown.

3Q-4:59-Louisville 27-7: The Cards’ Ramon Puryear recovers Wilcox’s second fumble of the afternoon and returns it 20 yards for a touchdown to push Louisville’s lead back out to 20 points.

3Q-0:43-Louisville 34-7: Watson scores his second rushing touchdown of the day, this one from 24 yards out. Louisville has 224 rushing yards on the afternoon.

4Q-9:49-Louisville 34-14: Wimsatt connects with Maclin for a second touchdown, this one an 83-yard bomb.

Rushing leaders: Demie Sumo-Karngbaye leads Kentucky in rushing with 535 yards on 118 attempts. He has rushed for five touchdowns. Louisville’s Isaac Brown has rushed for 896 yards on 121 carries with nine touchdowns.

Receiving leaders: Dane Key leads UK’s receivers with 47 catches for 715 yards and two touchdowns. Louisville’s Ja’Corey Brooks has caught 61 passes for 1,013 yards and nine touchdowns.

Specialists: Kentucky’s Alex Raynor is a perfect 16-for-17 on field goals. His long is 55 yards. Louisville’s Brock Travelstead has made 16 of 23 field goals. His long is 56 yards.

Trends: Kentucky lost to No. 3-ranked Texas 31-14 last week in Austin. Louisville is coming off a 37-9 win over Pittsburgh.
